Unforgettable

Great camp, very well equipped, if only the cook were better...
Very nice camp with a dozen tents just north of Moremi Game Reserve, about 10 minutes drive from North Gate. We had a few problems finding it at first, you should note the exact GPS coordinates. On the first day we were the only guests, later others came. Location right on a small waterhole, but where, compared to other camps, there was not too much going on. Very comfortable tents with shower, separate bathtub and plenty of space. The food was really bad, no idea where the chef had learned. But the game drives were very good, with sightings of the Big Four (no rhinos), hippos and crocodiles. Since we had our own car, we were able to go back to the Moremi Game Reserve during the day, but then you should stay close to the water to see as many animals as possible.

Very nice experience
Stay of 2 nights in this lodge. What marked us was the human warmth, the friendliness of the whole team , with a certain modesty. Welcome , Dinner, Check-out in songs (personalized! ) with the presence of the whole team: emotions and thrills guaranteed! Otherwise food and breakfast of high quality, highlights ( aperitif dinner at sunset, dinner by candlelight etc...). Recent establishment with still some youthful awkwardness but the welcome , the sense of the customer , the services are topissimo . Amazing experience!
We had a perfect stay at Khwai Expeditions Camp from the moment we arrived, to the moment we had to leave which was very sad and we shed tears! The staff are so kind and welcoming and made our honeymoon stay very special, thank you so much! The camp itself is idyllic, in a gorgeous environment with luxurious tents and amazing food! Enthousiastic people.
This lodge has many advantages. Close to the airstrip, very friendly people (especially Cleo), very knowledgeable guide (Nelson), nice rooms, well cared for. The early morning game drives were very successful; lions, leopards, hippos, even wild dogs. The food was somewhat variable; the first evening not very good, the second and third considerably better. Maybe the cook had the first night off? The main reason for not rating it 5 stars is that there was little guidance. A problem with hot water was only resolved after asking three times, and then not even properly. You can expect better, especially in this price range. Great lodge at Khwai in Botswana
The lodge is located in the Khwai area and offers great jeep safaris. We were able to watch the hyenas feeding in the morning and the lions in the evening. The lodge offers 6 luxurious tents, so there is a family atmosphere. The staff is super friendly, the food is very good and the team always comes up with something new for the obligatory sundowner. Very good experience, one of the best lodges in Botswana
Excellent lodge, well located and very comfortable. The staff and manager welcomed us royally, with a surprise candlelit dinner by the pool. The animals are very close. We heard lions at night and saw their tracks in the morning

2 night stay in this lodge, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and welcoming. The newly appointed manager is competent and at the service of his customers. He went out of his way to find my suitcase lost at the airport (for 4 days)! and had it delivered to my room the next day. Really well done and thank you very much. Excellent safari experience with ups and downs
This camp has many possibilities. But it lacks some direction and its own face. The manager greeted us for 5 minutes, but she had to leave right after. Without further explanation. That seemed to happen more often. We didn't see them again for 3 days. So the guide and the bartender had to accompany us for three days. That certainly didn't go badly, but sometimes the attention to detail was lacking. Certainly Mika, our guide provided a lot of information and managed to add variety to every game drive. We saw a lot of different nature and wildlife. Every day lions and hyenas, a leopard, wild dogs and much more. He was also kind enough to organize an extra early start with a game drive on our departure day, so that we could do something extra before our flight departed. The rest of the staff needed a little more supervision although they were all very friendly. But the appearance of breakfast varied considerably. Sometimes some cutlery was missing or there were items on the table without any further function. However, the food itself was very good every day and served excellent, almost haute cuisine. Then dinner was again taken in the open air by the campfire or the high tea was converted into an extensive sundowner on the edge of the swamp. Or was lunch served next to the pool. In that respect, there was real attention to variation in the experience of the safari. It was a bit unclear what the separate tent with a gym and a spa on site did. Nothing was said about that. Also about the use of the pool, towels, etc. Luckily it was too cold to swim because the pool was also not very clean. The quality of the cleaning and make-up in the room was also variable, but not bad. You had the feeling that this camp is on the decline. But the room was otherwise fine. Slept wonderfully and had a good shower. Beautiful tent with sliding glass doors with decorative (mood) lighting. And for our wedding anniversary, we were offered a candlelit nighttime experience in the camp's jacuzzi. In terms of food, sleeping and safari experience, Khwai Expeditions camp is an excellent place to stay. Welcoming and warm experience staying at Khwai Expedition Camp and having safaris filled with a variety of animals
We had a spectacular visit! We saw many animals, beautiful scenery, and were taken care of by a great staff. our guide, LT, was conscientious about safety, patient, and very knowledgeable about animals. The staff was warm, friendly, and efficient ( Muriel, Dee Dee, Matt, Martin, Men, Julian and others). The food was delicious and prepared by the excellent chef Josephine. Our tent camps were very comfortable especially with two warm comfortables. We were there in winter so it is important to take warm clothes. Our safari trips were filled with great experiences seeing animals of all varieties and seeing the beautiful landscapes of the Okavango Delta.
